Our Company
Mike Cecchini knew when he was just nineteen what he wanted to do with his life. As an enterprising botany student at Chico State, his enthusiasm for working with nature's beauty grew into his first company - Creative Greenery.
The young entrepreneur nurtured this interior/exterior landscaping enterprise until 1984, when he sold it to return to his family roots in Orange County. The Foliage Group was born the following year.
Its first seed was an Irvine Company apartment community that has blossomed over the past twenty-six years into fifty-five additional properties. The firm's first model home community has grown to over 375 current and completed residential projects and the John Wayne Airport became its first large commercial account.
Along the way, The Foliage Group nestled into
larger quarters in Santa Ana and formed an alliance with Verde
LLC, a well recognized outdoor landscaping company. The firm
could now concentrate on what it does best:
adding life and lushness to interior spaces by providing customers with the very best interior plants.
The Foliage Group thrives today as a diverse interior landscaping firm with projects in Dubai for Emmar Properties, one of the world's largest real estate developers.
